This site provides information on your benefit options, your enrollment options, and details on how to contact your benefit carriers.

 

Please remember, some benefit availability is contract dependent. These benefits will populate accordingly at your time of enrollment.

Login Instructions 

Login Instructions – EXISTING EMPLOYEES (NEW HIRES SEE CALL CENTER INSTRUCTIONS)

  1. Username: Full Social Security Number (no spaces)
  2. PIN: Last 4 digits of your SSN and the Last 2 digits of your Year of Birth (you will complete your enrollment using the same PIN)

This site is available to you 24/7. When you are not in an active enrollment you can view your elections, update beneficiaries, or download your enrollment confirmation statement.

Information for New Hire Enrollments

Preparing for your New Hire Enrollment

You must complete your enrollment within 30-days from your Date of Hire


 

  • Gather Social Security Numbers & Dates of Birth for any Dependents you are enrolling. Domestic Partners Same/Opposite Sex are covered, but you must complete the Domestic Partner Affidavit found here.

Social Security Numbers are required for dependents older than 6 months.

  • You will be required to substantiate your relationship to all dependents with documentation.
  • Review all the Benefit plans available to you.
  • Set aside some time. Allow 15-20 minutes to complete your enrollment.
  • Contact the Call Center or login to the Online Enrollment site to make your selections.

Remember, the benefits you are eligible for will populate at the time of your enrollment.

  • Once your enrollment is complete, submit any required forms/documents using the Forms Link tile.
  • Your benefits are effective as of your Date of Hire. 
  • Allow up to 21 days to receive any benefit ID cards. Printable ID cards are available online through Highmark 7 days after enrollment.
  • In order to receive “Cash in Lieu Of” medical benefits proof of qualified non-individual marketplace coverage is required annually/with bargaining unit contract settlement. PROOF is provided through an enrollment completion and the answering of the required questions.

Qualifying Life Event (QLE)

A qualifying life event is a personal life event that allows you to make changes to your benefits.

To complete a qualifying life event, schedule an appointment here –> PA School District Appointment Scheduler  within 31 days of the event occurrence.

Once the life event has been processed you will be required to submit documentation to support the qualifying life event.

Losing Medicare, Medicaid or CHIP eligibility

Losing coverage on your parent’s plan when you turn 26

Change in household

Marriage or divorce

Adding a child to the family

Moving to a different ZIP code or county

A student who moves to attend school or after leaving it

Seasonal workers on the move

Moving to or from a shelter or transitional housing

Other qualifying events

Income changes that might impact the coverage for which you qualify

Becoming a member of a federally recognized tribe or status as an Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act Corporation shareholder

Becoming a U.S. citizen

Exiting incarceration

Member of Americorps who start or end service
